Officials found that the retired officers were working in various capacities in contracting and outsourcing jobs in the government. They were found to be Group One officers, IAS, IFS, Confederate IAS and other retired officers. It has been found that there are maximum 179 officials in a single municipal department. After that, it was learned that 88 officials in the Higher Education Department, 75 in the Civil Supplies Department, 81 in the Roads and Construction Department, and 70 in the Irrigation Department are still working. However.. they get Rs. per month in the form of salary allowances. 150 crore per year while the government is spending Rs. 1800 crores each, it seems that about Rs.13 thousand crores have been paid in the last 10 years.
Meanwhile, it seems that there is extreme intolerance among the lower level employees as they are not getting promotions due to the re-appointment of retired officers. Even though they themselves discussed for a long time to remove the retired officers, the then BRS government did not dare to take notice. Meanwhile.. on this matter.. the Congress party has been making its voice heard since it was in the opposition.. now that it has come to power.. Revanth Sarkar is working to bring out the ‘retired’ figures. But.. will it keep them going..?.. or miss them..? Discussions are going on. Employees are hopeful that they will get promotions if they are removed.
