The second round of the Dubai Fishing Championship, organized by the Dubai International Marine Club, begins today. The contestants, who love fishing hobbies, compete for titles and prizes in two categories, the first is kingfish fishing, and the second is salmon fishing (cobia), as each of them strives to obtain the largest weight, and leads the ranking in each category in order to climb to the podiums.
The Dubai Club allocated financial prizes amounting to 165,000 dirhams for the winners in the second round, where 135,000 will be distributed to the outstanding students in the kingfish category, and the first three places in the scull category will receive 30,000, and the club was keen to thank the national companies and institutions that provide their support for the event.
The organizing committee completed all the preparations for the start of the competition stages by announcing the password to the participating contestants, and determined the location of the catch delivery, as well as the explanatory video clips of the jury, which are connected daily until the closing date, next Sunday. Delma Marine for Industrial Supplies and Marine Services, as part of its ongoing partnership with the Dubai Club, announced last March the allocation of 25,000 dirhams as an appreciation prize for the season’s champion in the Kingfisher fishing competition.
