The organizing committee of the Dubai International Skydiving Championship – which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and with the support of the Dubai Sports Council – announced that it will take place during the period from the 28th of this month until the 8th of next December. , at Skydive Dubai, in the Mina Seyahi area and Al Sufouh Beach area – 20 countries participated in the event, which is one of the priorities of the International Skydiving Federation’s agenda.
For his part, the Chairman of the Preparation and Logistical Support Committee, Abdullah Murad, confirmed in press statements that work is continuing to finalize the arrangements for hosting the tournament, with the participation of 136 workers and engineers, as all logistical procedures are scheduled to be completed during this week.
He said in press statements: “There is a change in the location of the target accuracy championship competitions, as it will be held at Al Sufouh Beach (Bein Kasserine), which is an ideal and safe place for jumpers, while the water skiing championship competitions will be held in (Skydive Dubai) as usual due to the quality and safety of the place. He added: “The organizing committee is keen to provide the best organizational level that guarantees the success of the tournament, which is followed by large numbers on social media sites, the tournament’s website, and also on the websites of the International Skydiving Federation and the International Federation of Air Sports.”
It is scheduled that 26 international referees will participate in managing the competitions of the two competitions, some of whom began arriving early to contribute to organizing the tournament stage.
