Ajman Sports Academy organized the third swimming championship, which was held at the headquarters of the Ajman Society for Social and Cultural Development, with the participation of more than 200 swimmers and managed by the general international referee, Mohammed Faraj, who managed the activities of the championship, which is held periodically with the aim of spreading the game and increasing the participant base in Ajman.
About 900 swimmers from 18 academies had registered to attend the past two editions of the tournament as part of the academy’s series of championships for ages between seven and 15 years.
For his part, international referee Mohamed Farag said in press statements: “I am happy with the continued presence among young swimmers, with the aim of spreading the game, correcting mistakes, and laying foundations for swimmers to put them on the path to competing in championships.”
He added: “These tournaments work to provide participants with experience, and I call on parents to push their children into this type of swimming tournaments.”
