Shirdi (Maharashtra): Nationalist Congress President Sharad Pawar has said that the political climate in the country is not favorable for the BJP as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching.
Speaking at a party event held in Shirdi, Maharashtra, he said, “The BJP that came to power in 2014, the BJP that came to power in mid-2014, announced many schemes and made many promises. But the party did not implement them. It deceived the people. Now people are starting to realize this. With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, the political climate in the country is not favorable for the BJP.
The BJP is claiming that it will win more than 400 of the total 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. But we must note that the party is not in power in many states of the country. “BJP is not in power in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Punjab, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand,” he said.
