Corona cases are increasing and decreasing across the country. More than 3,000 Kovid cases have been registered till three days ago and below 3,000 in the last two days. While states like Delhi have the highest number of Kovid cases, Telugu states do not have the highest number of cases. While 39 cases were registered in Telangana on Thursday, 28 cases were identified in a single city. The current positivity rate in the state is 0.3 percent. So far 7 lakh 92 thousand 474 positive cases have been registered in Telangana and 4111 people have lost their lives due to corona. No corona deaths have been reported for the past two months. As many as 28 people recovered from corona in the state on Thursday, bringing the total number of people recovering to 7,87,961. Currently 402 people are being treated for Kovid. The recovery rate in the state was 99.43 per cent while the death rate was 0.51 per cent. 13,422 samples were tested in Telangana on Thursday. With this, 3.47 crore corona tests have been done in the state so far. 9.34 lakh corona tests were performed on every ten lakh population. The Department of Health has advised everyone to be vaccinated and to take precautions. Governor Tamilsai responded to a tweet by the Times of India about corona cases in the state. She suggested that surveillance and monitoring of corona cases should be continued and tests should be increased in new clusters. Doing genome sequencing, want to know if there is a threat of new variants. She was advised to wear a mask and take two doses of the vaccine. Eligible children should be vaccinated.
