As the Israel-Hamas war is intensifying day by day, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of Gaza’s Al Shiba hospital yesterday (Saturday). 2500 people were evacuated from that hospital.
Civilians, doctors and mobile patients were evacuated. As a result, 291 patients, including 32 infants, are suffering there. The UN led by the World Health Organization inspected the hospital. The committee confirmed.
Deathbed Trembling: Of the 291 patients, 32 were infants. Many other patients suffer from severe injuries and spinal cord problems and are unable to move.
The UN said it was disturbed by what the patients and UN health workers there said. The group said. Patients fear for their lives and fear for their health. They begged to be saved somehow. Al Shiba Hospital is like a ‘death zone’. The UN is preparing to transport patients to southern Gaza in the coming days. UN says more health workers will come. According to the group, Israeli soldiers are also staying at Al Shiba Hospital.
Earlier, some Gazans said they were forced out of Al Shiba on Saturday morning, although the Israeli army said people had left al-Sheba on their own.
“We were evicted at gunpoint,” Mahmoud Abu Off told AP over the phone. He said there were tankers around the hospital and snipers inside. He also said that three more people were arrested by the Israeli army.
