Portuguese media reported that Iranian player Mehdi Qaidi, who is currently playing with Kalba Club, on loan, from Shabab Al-Ahly, is a candidate to leave the ADNOC Professional League during the current transfer period.
The Portuguese newspaper “Record” said that the Portuguese club “Rio Ave” wants to include the Kalba player during the winter transfer period, in addition to the desire of the English clubs Nottingham Forest and the Greek club Olympiacos to include him.
The newspaper confirmed that the club, which plays in the Portuguese First Division, may take serious steps to negotiate with Shabab Al-Ahly Club, with which the Iranian international has a contract until June 30, 2026.
She indicated that the negotiations require that Mehdi Qaidi cut off his loan with Kalba, which may make it difficult for the Portuguese club to gain his services.
