Pilibhit. Big news has come out from Pilibhit, UP. Three Khalistani terrorists accused of grenade attack have been killed in an encounter in Punjab. This action took place on Monday morning in a joint operation between UP Police and Punjab Police. All three terrorists were members of Khalistani Commando Force. Many weapons including two AK 47s have been recovered from them.
The three terrorists have been identified as Gurvinder Singh, Ravi and Jaspreet. All three had carried out a grenade attack on Gurdaspur police post in Punjab some time ago. DGP Prashant Kumar said that all three terrorists have been killed in the encounter. This encounter took place in Puranpur area. In search of the three terrorists, the Punjab Police team was carrying out a search operation in collaboration with the UP Police.
It has been told by the DGP office that all three criminals were residents of Gurdaspur. Two AK 47 guns and two Glock pistols have been recovered from them. A large quantity of cartridges have also been found. DGP Prashant Kumar said that the three criminals were hiding in Puranpur, Pilibhit.
Two policemen were also injured during the encounter. Among the injured policemen are SOG team constable Shahnawaz and Madhotanda police station constable Sumit Rathi. After the encounter, CO City Deepak Chaturvedi and Inspector Sungarhi Pawan Pandey reached Puranpur Community Health Center. Two AK-47s were found with the terrorists killed in the encounter. Let us tell you that there was a blast in Bakshiwal police post on 19th December and in Wadala Bangar post on 20th December. Both the posts are under Kalanaur police station in Gurdaspur district.
