Chennai: Under the Bharat Gaurav Rail Scheme, 3 tourist trains will be run on May 10, 11 and 22 respectively during the summer season.
Indian Railways launched the Bharat Gaurav Rail Project in 2021. Railway management is solely responsible for running the trains in this scheme. Other services will be taken care of by private companies. Under this scheme, more than 9 companies are registered and operating trains in Southern Railway.
In this case, 3 trains are going to be run for summer tourism. Travel Times Company is making arrangements for this.
The train departs from Chennai from 10th May. Kashi, Gaya, Prayagraj, Haridwar, New Delhi, Mathura, Agra and back. The fee for 10 days is Rs.22,500.
The second train will depart from Chennai on May 11. Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonmark, Amritsar, Agra and back. Apart from this, the 3rd train will depart from Chennai on May 22 and will go to places like Hyderabad, Ajanta Ellora, Shirdi, Mumbai, Goa.
