1. 3 terrorists killed in Baramulla encounter, Pakistani army was helping them

Army-police released photographs of killed terrorists. However, these terrorists are yet to be identified.
Army killed three terrorists near LoC in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The bodies of two of these terrorists have been found, while the body of the third terrorist has not been found due to the firing from the Pakistani post. The army says that the Pakistani army was helping the terrorists. The phone was giving them cover fire. On the other hand, the encounter between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag is going on since 12th September i.e. for 5 days. On the fifth day, the army killed a terrorist there also.
Why is this news important: This is the third encounter of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 6 days. 5 of our soldiers have been martyred, while the army has killed 6 terrorists in different districts. The army says that 2-3 terrorists are still hiding in the forests of Rajouri.

2. 1008 people came in contact with Nipah patients in Kerala, all were kept in isolation.
After the sixth case of Nipah virus was found in Kerala, all schools, colleges and tuition centers have been closed till September 24. According to State Health Minister Veena George, 1008 people have come in contact with those infected with Nipah virus. Of these, 327 are health workers. All of them have been kept in isolation. ICMR has described this virus as more dangerous than Corona.
Why is this news important: Nipah virus spreads to humans from animals like bats and pigs. Till now there is no treatment or injection available for it. According to WHO, patients infected with Nipah virus show symptoms like viral fever along with headache, feeling like vomiting, difficulty in breathing and dizziness.

3. Vande Bharat with sleeper coach will start soon, production of Vande Metro with 12 coach also continues.

75 Vande Bharat trains are to be run in the country. So far, 25 Vande Bharat trains have been given the green signal.
There are preparations to install sleeper coaches in Vande Bharat train by March next year. Currently chair car Vande Bharat is running in the country. Actually, Railways is now planning to run Vande Bharat train on the route of Rajdhani Express. In such a situation, it is necessary to provide sleeper coaches to provide rest to the passengers at night. Along with this, production of Vande Metro is also going on. This train of 12 coaches can be run on shorter routes from January.
Why is this news important: PM Modi had announced to launch 75 Vande Bharat from Red Fort on 15 August 2018. However, the first Vande Bharat train started running on 15 February 2019. So far 25 Vande Bharat trains have been run.

4. Air Force will buy 100 LCA Mark 1A fighter jets, this is an advanced version of Tejas.
Indian Air Force will buy 100 made-in-India LCA Mark 1A fighter jets. Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary announced this during his visit to Spain. LCA Mark-1A is an advanced version of Tejas aircraft. It is equipped with upgraded avionics and radar systems.
Why is this news important: The Indian Air Force wants to retire the old MiG-21, MiG-23 and MiG-27. For this reason it has decided to buy 100 LCA Mark 1A fighter jets. After completion of this deal, India is expected to have 40 LCA Tejas, more than 180 LCA Mark-1A and at least 120 LCA Mark-2 aircraft in the next 15 years.

5. Petrol becomes costlier by Rs 26 in Pakistan, now 1 liter will be available for Rs 331

This picture of Pakistan was taken while the customers were filling petrol. The price of petrol there has become 331.38 Pakistani rupees.
The caretaker government in Pakistan has increased the price of petrol by 26.02 Pakistani rupees. Due to this the price of petrol has increased to Rs 331.38. At the same time, high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 17.34 to reach Rs 329.18. This is the first time in Pakistan that the prices of petrol and diesel have reached Rs 330/litre. On this the government said that the price of fuel has increased at the international level. For this reason the prices of petrol and diesel had to be increased.
Why is this news important: International Monetary Fund i.e. IMF had given a loan of 3 billion dollars to Pakistan 3 months ago. He also laid down a condition that the army budget would have to be reduced. Apart from this, the price of petrol and diesel will have to be increased by 30%. Railways caught 1 rat after spending 41 thousand rupees

The contract for rat catching in Lucknow division was given to Central Warehousing Corporation. In three years, company employees caught only 168 rats.
Fat rats are often seen at railway stations and platforms. Northern Railway is so troubled by these rats that it spent Rs 69 lakh in Lucknow division in 3 years to catch them.
