Kohima: Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections are going to be held on 27th. The election results will be announced on March 2. The filing of nominations for the election was completed yesterday. Nominations are being considered today. 10th is the last day to withdraw petitions.

On the occasion of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections, a team of officials from various departments is conducting regular checks in every district of the state. In this, the authorities have confiscated many things like cash, bottles of locally produced foreign liquor, drugs, and items transported for free distribution to voters.
The total value of seized cash and other items as on February 6 is Rs 30.71 crore.
