The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club athletics team headed to Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman to enter a training camp that will continue until August 22, at the beginning of its preparations and readiness for the new season’s competitions, which the team is entering with great ambitions, the most important of which is maintaining its distinction and competing for the lead in the various competitions and championships that it will participate in during the 2024-2025 sports season.
The team list in the camp included 30 players: Abeer Ibrahim, Adhraa Adel, Sarah Mohammed, Mahra Abdul Rahim, Fatima Khalil, Afra Issa, Sarah Fahd, Suad Abdullah, Samar bint Saleh, Shahd Rashid, Reem Mohammed, Rawda Al-Jabri, Fatima Jassim, Sheikha Khaled, Alia Khaled, Mahra Al-Khazraji, Salama Al-Khazraji, Malak Abdullah, Asmita Ganesh, Alia Khaled, Maria Fahd, Fawaghi Hamid, Alia Aqil, Jawaher Khalil, Maitha Hamid, Farida Saeed, Maryam Murad, Sheikha Fahd, Rawda Al-Jallaf, and Misk Khalifa.
They were accompanied by a technical and administrative team that included: Tahani Obaid – administrator, Hind Al-Kabawi, Marwa Boumaiza and Faten Al-Qafsi – trainers, and Abeer Bin Dhafer – therapist.
The club’s management was keen to provide all opportunities for early preparation for all the club’s teams at all age levels, sufficiently before the start of the season’s activities, with the aim of bringing all the teams to the required level that would guarantee them achieving the best results in all competitions throughout the season.
