Dubai Police’s warning comes ahead of the start of the professional football league in the UAE today. Fans who enter the ground or engage in violence will be fined up to Dh30,000, the notice said. Imprisonment of one to three months is also possible. Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Director of the Department of Protective Security and Emergency Department, released the rules that fans must follow.
Spectators may not enter the playing field, sports event area or other unauthorized areas without permission. Sharp objects and other weapons are not allowed inside the stadium. Fireworks, dangerous goods or prohibited products may not be brought. Sit only in the allotted spaces in the gallery. Dubai Police also stated that necessary measures will be taken to ensure maximum security for players, officials and fans.
Guidelines

Imprisonment and fine for violation of rules
Any display found to be causing a nuisance is punishable by one to three months in jail. A fine ranging from Dh5,000 to Dh30,000 will also have to be paid. Throwing any substance or liquid on the ground will attract the same penalty as above.
The punishment is the same for using foul language (written or spoken). Making racist comments or political statements is a similarly punishable offence.
