379 types of food for son-in-law for Pongal festival

Visakhapatnam: Bhima Rao’s daughter Kushma from Elur in Andhra’s West Godavari district and engineer Muralidhar got married in April last year.

In this case, Muralidhar came to his father-in-law’s house in Thalipongal last Saturday. His wife Kushma also came with him. The family cooked and served 379 types of food including sweet and spicy dishes to them. Groom Muralidhar was surprised to see their hospitality. In Godavari districts of Andhra state, this kind of treat has now increased. Kushma’s mother said she was proud to have cooked a maximum of 379 dishes for her son-in-law, more than the treats so far.
