Abu Dhabi Cycling Club announced that four of its cyclists will undergo a training programme at the headquarters of the International Cycling Union in Switzerland, at the official invitation of the Union.
The club stated in a statement yesterday that the program will continue until September 13, with the participation of cyclists Suhail Al Khazraji, Khaled Al Nuaimi, Hamad Al Muhairbi, and Hareb Al Marzouqi, and includes a number of training and educational sessions, with the attendance of players from the most prominent international clubs and teams.
Al Nakheel Al Khaili, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, confirmed that the club’s players’ participation in this programme comes within the framework of ongoing cooperation with the International Federation, and the keenness to provide the best programmes for the players.
He pointed out that the club continues to support its players, develop their talents and prepare them to participate in various local, continental and international tournaments.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Suhail Al Arifi, said that the Abu Dhabi Cycling players undergoing a training session at the headquarters of the International Cycling Union is an important step towards improving their level, through interaction with international cyclists.
