Lucknow: The Kumbh Mela festival is celebrated by Hindus at four places once every twelve years. The Kumbh Mela will be held in four river basins of the country namely Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain and Nashik.
In this UP Kumbh Mela held at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj state is the most popular. The Triveni Sangam is where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the invisible Saraswati meet. In connection with this program, UP A press release issued by the state government said:
UP to spend Rs 6,800 crore in 2025 for Maha Kumbh Mela. Govt will spend. 24 crore devotees attended the 2019 Maha Kumbh Mela. 40 crore people are expected to visit the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025. On this occasion, it has been decided to hold an exhibition in an area of 3,700 hectares. 1,575 new buses will be procured for the Kumbh Mela. This is stated in a government press release.
