43 dead and more than 100 missing in Ecuador prison riot

At least 43 detainees were killed in clashes between two rival gangs at the Bellavista prison in Ecuador’s Santo Domingo de los Colorados on Monday, the district prosecutor said. More than a hundred more prisoners managed to escape during the riot.
