On Sunday, Al-Ahly of Egypt received an official notification to agree to the attendance of 52,000 spectators for the team’s match against its guest, Moroccan Raja Casablanca, next Saturday in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
And Al-Ahly announced, on its official page on the (Facebook) social networking site, that it had received an actual notification that 52,000 spectators would attend the match.
A source added, in statements to the German News Agency (dpa): Al-Ahly will start, in the coming hours, in cooperation with the company specialized in ticketing, offering them to the masses through the online sale system.
He explained: The Raja team will be granted its legal percentage, according to the regulations of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This will be the second consecutive edition of the Champions League, during which Al-Ahly will meet Al-Raja, after they had previously met in the same round in the previous edition of the competition, where the Egyptian team overcame the obstacle of its Moroccan counterpart, after defeating it 3-2 in the two-legged aggregate.
It is noteworthy that the return match is scheduled to take place on April 29, at the (Mohamed V) stadium in the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
