The UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation announced the participation of 551 male and female players representing 47 clubs across the country, in the UAE Open Muay Thai Championship for Youth, which will be held from August 9 to 11 at Space 42 Arena on Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi.
The tournament will witness the participation of male and female players from the age of eight to 23 years, in 12 different weight categories approved in the tournament’s competition program.
The tournament program includes weighing and medical examinations for the participants next Thursday, in preparation for the start of the competitions on August 9th in the qualifying rounds.
Ali Khoury, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, said, “We continue our efforts in preparing programs and organizing tournaments during the summer vacation season for juniors and youth, especially after the great successes of the UAE Kickboxing Championship that was recently organized.”
