6 dogs and 4 guards guarding the mango and flour worth Rs 2.5 lakh per kg

New Delhi: A farmer couple from Madhya Pradesh has set up a guard to prevent the theft of mangoes. The couple has deployed four guards and six dogs to protect a rare species of mango in the garden. Isn’t this mango so special just to provide such a guard? Then listen, Miyazaki, the most expensive mango in the world, grows in their garden.

The origin of this mango is Miyazaki in Japan. Known by the name of the city, this mango has many medicinal properties. In the international market, a kilogram of Miyazaki mango is priced at Rs 2.70 lakh. These are known as sun eggs due to their shape and color. The violet Miyazaki mango weighs over 350 grams. Containing more than 15% sugar, mango is rich in antioxidants, beta carotene and folic acid.

Eating that mango is good for eye health. They are harvested from April to August. Ten years ago, during a train journey, Rani and Sankalp Parihar received Miyazaki’s seedlings. Sankalp said the saplings were given to him by a man who was traveling with them on the same train and that he had grown them like his own children for so long.

At that time, when these two mango seedlings were planted, their characteristics were not known. They were named Damini in memory of their mother. But it was only when they first bore fruit that I came to know about their specialties and prices. Last year, some people broke into the garden and stole mangoes. He added that with this, it has been decided to install Kavan in the garden this time.

There are a total of 7 Miyazaki mangoes with two trees. Since it is a rare mango, many couples have approached it to buy it. Rani said a Mumbai-based jeweler had informed her that she was willing to pay Rs 21,000 for a Miyazaki mango. But now the couple has decided not to sell mangoes to anyone.
