Six people were shot dead in a soccer stadium in Brazil while they were celebrating the “Christmas” holidays, local media reported.
The public security agency in the northeastern state of Ceará said that six people aged between 15 and 26 were killed and five others were shot.
The agency added that 10 people were arrested and 6 firearms were seized after the incident in the city of Fortaleza in the early hours of Saturday.
Authorities said four of the victims had previously been arrested for crimes including joining criminal gangs.
Brazilian media, citing the military police, reported that the matter may have been a gang dispute.
