Shares of Asian Paints, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Larsense & Toubro and HCL Technologies were gainers in the BSE Sensex today. BSE Mid Cap is still in the black. Trading at 24,645 points. Among the gainers were IRCTC, Astral, Max Financial Services, Oil India and Emphasis. Similarly, the BSE Small Cap Index gained 375 points to close at 28,890 points. Shares of Unifos Enterprises, Nahar Polyfilms, Centrum Capital, Sleek Energy Systems, Andrew Yale & Company gained 10 to 15 per cent.

Shares of Eicher Motors, Asian Paints, Larsen & Toubro, Tech Mahindra and Grasim Industries were among the gainers in the Nifty 50. Shares of IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratory and Power Grid Corporation of India were among the losers.
