Kanpur. The investigation into the conspiracy to overturn the Kalindi Express going from Prayagraj to Bhiwani by placing LPG cylinders on the track has intensified. Eight police teams will now conduct house-to-house searches in five villages falling within a radius of about one km from the incident spot, so that if there is any objectionable object, it can be detected.
To expose the conspiracy to overturn the Kalindi Express, three teams were formed under the leadership of inspectors of Shivrajpur, Chaubepur and Bilhaur police stations, which have been given the responsibility of going outside the district and conducting raids and collecting evidence. Along with this, surveillance and SWAT teams have also been deployed.
According to the information, the agencies have so far collected footage from 219 CCTV cameras and questioned more than 100 people. Also, 12 people have been detained. On Tuesday, the officer has formed eight teams of crime branch and different police stations. Each team will have six police personnel. These eight teams are coming to Muderi, Kanthi Niwada, Sen Niwada, Dariya Niwada and Sikramau villages which fall within a radius of about one km from the incident spot.
(Kalindi Express) To investigate the matter, two police teams reached from all four directions and started searching the fields, bushes and every house in the village. The purpose of the search was to find out if the conspirators had hidden any explosives or objectionable items in someone’s house or fields or bushes nearby.
