The summer football academy tournament competitions start today and will continue until August 31. It is organized by the Dubai Sports Council as part of implementing the policy of attracting and developing sports talents 2023-2033, and in preparation for the resumption of sports activities for the youth and junior sector in football for the 2024-2025 sports season.
The new edition of the tournament will see the participation of 800 players from 32 teams from five clubs: Shabab Al Ahli, Al Wasl, Al Nasr, Hatta, and Ajman. It includes eight age groups: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 18 years old. Its 48 matches will be held in Dubai club stadiums and in the Dubai Sports World halls in the Dubai World Trade Center.
The Under-18 competition will be held at Al Nasr Club, while the Under-16 competition will be held at Al Wasl Club, the Under-15 competition will be held at Shabab Al Ahli Club, the Under-14 competition will be held at Shabab Al Ahli Club, while the Under-13 competition will be held at Hatta Club, and the Under-12, Under-11 and Under-10 competitions will be held at the Dubai Sports World halls in the Dubai World Trade Centre.
