It is a championship that started big and achieves success every year, whether in terms of the number of participants or the companies that seek to be present in this event.”
“The Dubai Pro Championship is a gateway for Arab athletes to qualify and compete in the World Bodybuilding Championship (Mr. Olympia), and it will also be an opportunity for bodybuilding fans to watch the stars of the game, participate in the events, and gain more experience, especially since this sport is spreading rapidly among our youth from different segments of society, as Dubai now includes more than 400 clubs and centers for fitness and bodybuilding,” he said at the press conference.
He added: “We are confident that all participants will benefit from this championship in terms of competition and gaining experience. Fans of this sport will also find the opportunity to follow their favorite athletes and see the most important companies exhibiting the latest products and equipment specialized in bodybuilding.”
For his part, Adel Al Ali said, “This year’s Dubai Pro Championship is witnessing a wide participation of professional and amateur bodybuilding champions, thanks to the facilities provided by Dubai and the quality of life there, which has encouraged international companies to move their warehouses and headquarters from Europe to Dubai. The same thing has been done by international athletes and professional champions in Europe and America, who have started moving to live in Dubai, and this is something we are proud of and cherish.”
“The winner of the Dubai Pro Championship in the amateur category will receive the title of ‘Champion of Champions’ and will receive a professional player card to participate in the ‘Mr. Olympia’, which will be held from October 10 to 13 in Las Vegas, USA. The winners in the amateur category will also receive nine professional cards that will qualify them to become professional players, while the winning professionals will receive cash prizes, which are the second highest cash prizes for professional bodybuilders in the world after the Mr. Olympia Championship,” he added.
The winning professionals receive the second highest prize money in the world after the Mr. Olympia competition.
