Story:
June 25, 1983 The World Cup Final takes place. More than a month earlier, the Indian team will go to England under Kapil’s captaincy. Until then, no one will have much faith in an Indian team that will not be able to beat other teams on foreign soil. They also lose in warm-up matches. With this, many people think that the Indian team should win at least one match. The first match will be between India and West Indies, the world champions. Then wins the match as well. Indians are happy that this is not enough. But some journalists in England write that India somehow won two matches in a row as luck would have it. The Indian team is considered to be out of action as they have lost two more matches in a row since then. When the Indian team lost four wickets for nine runs in the Zimbabwe match, Kapil Dev fought valiantly to not only set a world record of 175 runs but also played a key role in winning the match. It then goes on to win the quarterfinals and semi-finals and advance to the finals. Only 183 runs scored in the final. How the Indian team defeated the world champion West Indies without a hitch. How did Captain Kapil inspire the other members of his team at that time? Instead of saying things like that, you have to watch it on the silver screen.
Analysis:
In the wake of the growing popularity of biopics on the Indian silver screen, it is to be applauded that Kabir Khan wanted to make a film about the 1983 World Cup voyage achieved by the Indian cricket team and make a film about it. While it is a way of revealing emotions in a person’s life on the silver screen, the choice of nightmares with the intention of showing today’s generation the unforgettable moments in a game of cricket, was co-ordinated by the then 1983 Cricket Legends team of cricket, Madan Lal Sahib. After the announcement of ’83, who will play Kapil Dev is a topic of interest to everyone. Ranveer Singh is not ready to act like Kapil Dev. Deepika Padukone is not he .. Kapil Bhatia’s wife Rumi, Tahir Raj Basin Sunil Gavaskar, Srikanth and Jeeva Krishnamacharya, Madan Lal Hardy orifice, mahindranath Amarnath sakib Salim, intimately related to the sale of balvindar Virgil, wicket-keeper Syed Sahil kirmaniga Qatar, Chirag Patil, Sandeep Patil, Dilip Vengsarkar Adinath Kothare, Karwa as Ravi Shastri .. Pankaj Tripathi as Manager Mansingh The way each character carries their roles feels great. Occasional dialogues and background music enliven some of the emotional scenes. Also Ashim Mishra’s cinematography is great. Each frame is very rich. Kabir Khan neatly adapted the emotional scenes to the story. Nowhere does it seem overdone. Also the casual conversations that take place between the players in the middle of the game are a bit hilarious. Kapil’s world record (175 runs) against Zimbabwe, in particular, could not be watched live as the match could not be televised due to technical reasons. But the part where Kabir Khan and the team talked to the members and found out what happened and showed the match to the eyes seemed very good.
Finally .. ’83 ‘… is a must watch movie for every Indian and cricket lover
(This is a must watch movie for Indians because .. in England ruled by India for two hundred years .. the Indian cricket team at that time was not allowed in the Lords on that hill which was the birthplace of cricket. It is an honor to pay tribute to Kapil Dev and team who laid the foundation for the Indian cricket team to be so great now).
