New Delhi: According to the Ministry of Health, the number of cases of corona infection in India has crossed 800 in a single day.
In this regard, the Union Ministry of Health has issued a press release: 843 people have been infected with corona virus in India on Friday. With this, the number of infected people has increased to 5,389. For the first time in the last 126 days, the number of infections in a day has crossed 800.
Jharkhand and Maharashtra reported one death each and Kerala reported two deaths. The number of people who have recovered from corona infection is 4 crore 41 lakh 58 thousand 161. The number of people who have died due to corona infection is 5 lakh 30 thousand 799.
According to the health department, 220.64 crore corona vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination programme.
