The 35th edition of the National Shooting Day Championship, organized by the Shooting Federation, began the day before yesterday, on the fields of the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, and will continue until the day after tomorrow, with the participation of 85 male and female shooters from the country’s clubs and both Bahrain and Qatar.
The tournament will be held in the rifle and 10-meter pistol disciplines, and includes all age groups for men, women, male and female juniors.
It enjoys the support and sponsorship of the Shooting Federation, especially for age groups, in preparation for preparing them for upcoming international competitions, led by the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
The 10-meter rifle competitions for men and women, male and female, witnessed Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim from Al Dhaid Club winning first place for men, Safaa Mohammed Al Dosari from the Bahraini Club winning first place for women, Sultan Saleh Mohammed Hassan from Al Dhaid Club winning first place for juniors, and Al Maha Mishal Al Ali from Club Al Dhaid winning first place for women. The Qatari sports thrower won first place in the female junior category.
