A battery of guns “Hyacinth-B” destroyed the accumulation of equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction

The battery of 152-mm guns 2A36 “Hyacinth-B” of the Southern Military District, performing combat missions in the Zaporozhye direction, eliminated the accumulation of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU). This became known on Monday, January 2.

“Now the task has come to work out the accumulation of enemy equipment. We were given the coordinates of the target. We have worked. Four fugitives. The target was hit, ”RIA Novosti quotes an artillery crewman.

The accumulation of enemy equipment was calculated using a drone. Then the coordinates of the positions are promptly transferred to the Russian military. Objective control data confirms that the target was eliminated.

Earlier, on December 10, the Russian military destroyed a stronghold of Ukrainian militants in the Zaporizhia direction with the help of a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) BM-21 Grad. After practicing strikes on a given target, the crew of the Grad MLRS had to quickly change location so as not to fall under return fire.

On December 9, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops hit six Western-made MLRS and MARS II MLRS launchers in the Zaporozhye region. Temporary firing positions of Ukrainian troops were also opened.

On December 3, Acting Head of the Zaporozhye Region Yevgeny Balitsky said that Russian troops continue to hold lines in the region and prevent any attempts to break through the enemy.

Russia’s special operation to protect Donbass continues. The decision to hold it was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region due to the increased shelling of Ukrainian troops. The liberated part of the Zaporozhye region became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum. Under the control of Kyiv is the regional center – the city of Zaporozhye.
