New Delhi. The meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party will be held in the Central Hall of Parliament shortly. An attempt will be made to reach a consensus on the division of ministries. Other leaders of NDA allies including Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan are also participating in it.
Along with the MPs of BJP and alliance parties, the heads of NDA alliance parties, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of all BJP-ruled states, BJP leaders of various states who are the Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly and many other big leaders of BJP can also attend this meeting. Before this, many allies of BJP will hold separate meetings with their MPs and after that everyone will leave for Parliament House for the NDA meeting.
NDA leaders will also go to Rashtrapati Bhawan today and will stake claim to form the government before President Draupadi Murmu. If sources are to be believed, after Narendra Modi was unanimously elected as the leader of NDA in the meeting of NDA leaders at PM residence on Wednesday, many other MPs have also come in contact with BJP. It is being told that apart from many independent MPs, talks with some small parties have also reached the final stage. There is every possibility that NDA leaders who won 293 seats in the Lok Sabha elections can stake claim to form the government before the President with the support of more than three hundred MPs.
Sources said that the swearing-in ceremony could take place on the evening of June 9, although a formal announcement has not been made about this yet. It is being told that many beneficiaries of various schemes of the Central Government, brand ambassadors of ‘Developed India’, workers working in the Central Vista project, workers associated with Vande Bharat Train and many other such projects, transgenders, sanitation workers (health department), employees associated with the health department can also attend the swearing-in ceremony.
