A case has been registered at Sattenapalli Police Station against AP Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu in the Sankranti Lucky Draw case. The Sattenapally police revealed that a case has been registered against Ambati under the Prize Cheats and Money Circulation Schemes Prohibition Act.Gade Venkateswara Rao alleged that YSR Congress Party leaders and activists led by Minister Ambati Rambabu are selling Sankranti lucky draw tickets at Rs.100 each in Sattenapalli and Guntur. It is stated that more than 3 lakh tickets are being printed and sold by party workers and ward secretariat volunteers. It is stated that the ward volunteers are pressuring the beneficiaries to buy tickets for the gift of pension.
To this extent, Janasena leader Venkateswara Rao lodged a complaint with the police against Minister Ambati, but they did not register a case, so he approached the Guntur court. The court, which conducted an inquiry into the matter, directed the police to immediately register a case against Minister Ambati and conduct an investigation. The police registered a case against Minister Ambati Rambabu on Wednesday.
