A chef who used to work at a Michelin-starred restaurant spoke about how he now prepares food for soldiers at one of the front lines of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) in the Kherson region. He shared his story on Monday, April 10.
“I had the opportunity to work in Denmark in Copenhagen for a year and a half, in a restaurant with three Michelin stars. You can cook something interesting from any product, if there is a desire and a drop of imagination, ”a serviceman with the call sign Chef told RIA Novosti, adding that he plans to cook lasagna for the soldiers in the near future.
He added that after he got into the war zone, he actually had to learn how to cook again, using a field kitchen (KP) instead of the usual equipment.
“I had to learn how to cook again, because in civilian life I had Electrolux equipment, but here I have a KP-130, a different world and different rules,” Chef noted.
However, according to him, at present he feels in his place, Gazeta.Ru reports.
Earlier, on March 17, a serviceman with the call sign “Zhila” from the Novosibirsk region told how he became a baker in the zone of the special military operation (SVO). According to him, before being called up for military service, he worked as a slinger, and after passing the combat coordination and getting into the NVO zone, he was given the task of baking bread for the soldiers.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
