In Adygea, a child was injured as a result of a ceiling collapse during a lesson in one of the schools in the Takhtamukay district of the republic. As reported on February 10 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC Investigative Committee) of the Russian Federation for the region, an inspection has been organized into the incident.
“A pre-investigation check was organized following a report of a partial collapse of the ceiling in a classroom during a lesson at the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 25” in the village of Enem, Takhtamukai district,” the department’s Telegram channel states.
It is clarified that the child injured in the incident required medical assistance.
During the inspection, employees of the regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee will establish all the circumstances of the incident, and will also evaluate the actions of school officials, whose responsibilities include organizing a safe educational process.
A similar incident occurred last November in Orenburg. Then a tile from the ceiling collapsed in the toilet of school No. 63; no injuries were reported. At the same time, earlier in the same educational institution, a ceiling tile in the assembly hall collapsed. The mayor’s office then said that this was due to the fact that moisture accumulated in the insulation layer after the exhaust ventilation in the building was turned off.
