Doha: An expatriate was arrested in Qatar with drug smuggling. More than four kilograms of drug was found from him. He smuggled methamphetamine after pouring it in liquid form on the curtains to evade detection. It is also known as shampoo.
The expatriate was arrested for drug trafficking by the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement, Ministry of Interior, Qatar. The officials were suspicious of the curtains that arrived as a parcel. Then he revealed the method of drug trafficking when he was interrogated with the evidence.

The methamphetamine was made into a liquid form and then poured onto the curtains and these were smuggled. After extracting the drugs from these curtains, the accused kept the drugs in separate containers.

Pravali disclosed to the officials the method of extracting the drug from cloths soaked in liquid form of methamphetamine and the materials used for this. The accused was handed over to the public prosecution for further proceedings.
