A Hajj Pilgrim And Her Husband, Who Were Barred From Entering The Country, Were Sent Back From A Saudi Airport

Saudi: A Hajj pilgrim and her husband who were banned from entering the country were sent back home from a Saudi airport. Muhammad Abdul Khader and his wife Farida Begum, natives of Mahbub Nagar, Telangana, were sent back home. After reaching Jeddah airport, they were returned by the authorities.

They arrived in Jeddah on a special flight of Vistara Airlines. Farida Begum was banned from entering Saudi Arabia. The passport was blacklisted. Immigration officers at Jeddah Airport found this during inspection. Both of them were sent back as the husband’s Haj request also fell under them. As per the instructions of the authorities, they were sent back home on Vistara Airlines.

Farida Begum used to work in Saudi earlier. They were banned because of some problem that happened at that time. They say that he had returned home due to some problems. But their passports have been blacklisted in the Saudi immigration records.

More facilities will be prepared at Alappuzha railway station

Various construction works are being carried out at the Alappuzha railway station at a cost of Rs.8 crores under the Amrit Bharat project. A special review meeting was held under the leadership of A.M.Arif MP to evaluate the matters related to this.

Escalators, foot over bridges, entrance gate and platform shelter will be constructed at the railway station. At present, new lifts have been constructed on two platforms. These will be opened soon. The station will be beautified. Parking facilities will be expanded. The rest center, washrooms and cafeteria will be further improved and open.

Railway Divisional Manager S.N. Sharma, Railway Sr. D.C.M. Jerin G. Anand, Sr. D.E.O. Arun and others were also there.
