A key development in the Jubileehills pub case

JrA key development has taken place in the sensational Amnesia pub case in Blyhills. The Juvenile Justice Board has issued a verdict recognizing the four accused as majors in the case of gang rape of a 17-year-old girl. Although the four accused in this case are minors, the crime committed by them and their behavior is worse than that of majors, the police asked the Juvenile Justice Board to treat them as majors. In the charge sheet, it is stated that all the accused should be treated as majors as they have committed a serious crime. Appropriate evidence and medical reports have been submitted. The Juvenile Board, which examined all this, conducted a long investigation on the issue of treating the accused as majors. It was also reviewed with psychologists and finally gave a key verdict.

The age of the accused was between 16 and 18 years at the time of the crime. The board investigated four CCLs separately. CCLs mental statement was analyzed with the help of psychologist. According to Section 15 of Juvenile Justice, the Board has come to an assessment to consider four CCLs as majors. Later, during the trial, the verdict was issued considering the four accused as majors.

The psychiatrist who spoke to the accused gave a report on their mental condition. It was reported that the four accused were not in the habit of drinking alcohol. The board agreed with the report. The Juvenile Board came to an opinion that the accused were not drinking alcohol at the time of the crime and were fully conscious and committed such brutality. The case was transferred to Nampally court.

It is known that the Jubilee Hills police arrested Saaduddin and five minors in the case of trapping a 17-year-old minor girl who had come for a party at a pub on Jubilee Hills Road No. 36, taking her in a car and raping her. The Juvenile Justice Board was asked to treat the five minors as majors and conduct an investigation in view of the serious crime committed.
