Navkerala is a clean Kerala: Kudumbashree trained green ambassadors
Kudumbashree organized training for Green Ambassadors of the district as part of Navkeralam Clean Kerala People’s Camp. Group discussions and presentation were held on block basis in the program held at Kalamaseri Municipal Town Hall.
Block wise grouping and discussion and presentation on home/institution visits, activities to be done during the visit, follow-up activities and local campaigns.
Navkeralam aims to make Kerala a waste-free state by 2025 in four phases through the campaign of Navkeralam Prutti Keralamukta Mukta Keralam.
In the phase up to June 5th, through extensive campaign activities, importance is given to segregation of waste at the source in all the houses and institutions of the district and to ensure that waste management is done as prescribed by the local self-governing body.
As part of the training program, T. D. Sajeev Lal, TS Saifuddin, M. K Rajendran conducted the classes, Sanitation Mission District Coordinator KK Manoj, Nava Kerala Mission 2 District Coordinator S. Ranjani, Janakiyasutranam district fecilitator Jubairiya Isaac, members of Kudumbashree and others participated.
