Eta. A massive fire broke out due to short circuit in a container filled with bikes in Etah. 47 Bajaj bikes were burnt to ashes in the massive fire. The driver sustained minor burns in the accident. The fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire with great difficulty.
Actually, a fire broke out due to short circuit in a container near Himmatpur village of Police Station Kotwali Dehat area. Shivpal, resident of town and police station Jaithra, told that he is a truck driver. From Pantnagar, 46 bikes of Bajaj company were going to Gujarat in a container.
On Tuesday late evening, as soon as its container reached village Nagla Galu of Kotwali Dehat police station area, a fire broke out due to short circuit in the chamber. Everything was burnt before the fire brigade arrived. At present the fire has been brought under control and the injured driver has been sent to the medical college for treatment.
By the time information was received, the entire container was engulfed in fire. The driver informed the police about the fire and started extinguishing the fire himself, due to which his hands also got burnt. On receiving the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire with great difficulty. Police station in-charge Amit Kumar said that in this accident, 41 Pulsar and 5 Platina bikes of Bajaj company kept inside the container were burnt to ashes.
