1 Crore 40 Lakh administrative approval for construction of new building of Chandanapally PHC
Deputy Speaker Chittayam Gopakumar informed that an investment of 1 crore 40 lakhs has been approved for the construction of a new building for the outpatient department of Chandanapally Primary Health Centre. The project is made possible through the utilization of funds from the National Health Mission. The detailed project document prepared and submitted by the Kerala State Construction Corporation, which was entrusted with NHM as the implementing agency of the project, was obtained from the State Mission Directorate the other day.
The Kerala State Construction Corporation, the implementing agency, has informed that some old structures including the existing old building and water tank need to be demolished and soil testing should be completed and only after that the work for the technical approval of the project can be started. The Deputy Speaker also informed that the concerned officers will be instructed to take the next steps to start the project work on time without delay.
