A Native Of Kozhikode Died In Oman

Oman: A native of Kozhikode died in Oman. Death occurred due to heart attack. The deceased is KV Basheer of Kuttyadi Talikakara, Kozhikode. He was 52 years old. He died in a private hospital in Ruvi. Muscat was an active worker of KMCC. Wife: Saphira. Children: Muhammad Danish, Dilsha Fatima, Hamdan, Minza Zainab. After Jumu’ah Namaz on Friday afternoon, the dead body was buried at Ameerat Graveyard at 1.30. The process was completed under the leadership of Muscat KMCC.

It has been decided to repair the traffic lights on the Poonkunnam – Kuttur road

Thrissur Taluk Development Committee meeting decided to issue a letter to KSEB to complete the repair of existing traffic lights and install new ones on Poonkunnam – Kuttur road. The meeting evaluated the various development activities going on in the taluk. The meeting also decided to complete the development works in a phased manner.

Thrissur Shaktan has decided to plug the pits on the west side of the stand and replace the water pumps which are not functional due to age and install new ones. The Chairman directed the Corporation representative to set up MCF for disposal of organic and inorganic waste in the Taluk Office premises. The meeting evaluated the measures regarding restoration of the demolished road for drinking water scheme for Anthikad Gram Panchayat. The Social Forestry Officer informed that a decision has been taken to cut down the necessary trees in connection with the development of Pathalkad – Vilangannur road.
