WABetaInfo reports that the Meta-owned instant messaging app is rolling out a new feature to its desktop beta testers. This is a feature that allows Windows users to chat with unknown phone numbers or phone numbers that are not in their contact list.
According to the current report, WhatsApp is introducing a new screen. A phone number can be entered in it. So you can enter a new phone number which is not in your contact list and start chatting immediately. That means WhatsApp is introducing such a feature to make communication more easy and simple.
If you want to check the availability of this feature in your WhatsApp account, open “New Chat”. Clicking the plus sign next to your DP will open a new chat screen. Here you should see a new entry point called ‘Phone Number’.
