The drug has been tested in 40 patients since November. The experiments were performed on patients at BJ Government Medical College, Sassoon General Hospital, Pune and Victoria Medical College, Bangalore. Reports may be forwarded to the Drug General soon.

Patients were given 100 g of GPP-Baladol three times a day. It analyzed the change in the patients and came to the conclusion about the effectiveness of the drug. The Kochi-based company has research activities in the US, UK and Germany.
After knowing the effectiveness of the drug, it is hoped that the government will soon approve the availability of the drug for the treatment of patients admitted to the hospital. PNB Balaram, CEO, PNB Vesper Life Sciences, said: “The company is in talks with the US and UK governments.
