A Saudi Woman Who Danced On The Road Was Arrested

Riyadh: A Saudi woman was arrested for dancing on the main road in the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The video of the incident was circulated on social media. The Saudi police said that the woman who violated the law was identified through investigation and arrested by the security patrol officers.

The woman was arrested for obstructing traffic and violating public decency. After taking legal action, the accused has been handed over to public prosecution, the police said in a statement.

A woman stopped a car on a busy main road in Riyadh and danced next to the door of the car with loud music on the road. The date of the incident and the name of the accused have not been released. The young woman danced on the road wearing pants and a half-sleeve top with a veil wrapped around her waist. The driver of another car filmed and released the video on social media.
