A Shock To The Devotees Of Tirumala Srivari.

TTD has given a sudden twist to Tirumala’s Srivari devotees. After the modernization works on the hill, the rent of rooms in some of the dormitories that have become available again has been increased. Prices have increased in hostels like Kaustubham, Panchajanyam, Nandakam and Vakulamata. The price has increased from Rs.500, Rs.600 to Rs.1000 depending on the rooms. From the 1st of this month, the rooms in Narayangiri Rest House 1, 2 and 3 have been increased from Rs.150 to Rs.1700 inclusive of GST. In Narayangiri Resthouse 4, each room has been increased from Rs.750 to Rs.1700.

Also, the corner suite is Rs.2200 including GST. In special type cottages, the room rent of Rs.750 has increased to Rs.2800 inclusive of GST. Devotees have to pay the deposit along with room rent. If you get the room for Rs.1700, you have to pay Rs.3400 along with the deposit cash. Shrivari devotees started to worry about this increase in prices.

Modernization works are also being completed in SMC, SNC, HVC, ANC, which are available with a rent of Rs.50, Saptagiri, Varahaswamy Guest House, Rambhagicha, SNGH, HVDC, ATC, TBC, which are available with a rent of Rs.100. Doubts have started among everyone that the rents will also be increased. The accommodation centers in Tirumala were done by inviting tenders for Rs.110 crores. They provided facilities like AC and geyser and increased the rent. The increased prices came into effect from January 1.

On the other hand, TTD said that on January 9, Srivari Rs.300 special entrance darshan quota tickets will be released. It has been announced that tickets will be released online on 9th of this month at 10 am. TTD will release tickets for January 12 to 31 and February quota (February 1 to 22).

Also, the senior citizens and disabled quota tickets were released on 7th of this month at 9 am. Room bookings for these special darshan slots will open on 10th of this month at 10 am. Now TTD has issued tickets for Vaikuntha Ekadashi from January 2 to 11.
