A Small Change In Annavaram Anna Prasadam Scheme.. Plates Instead Of Aritaks

A small change has been made in Annavaram Temple Anna Prasadam. No more eating on plates instead of plates. Devasthanam which is running from Thursday. It was also decided to start a buffet. But due to some reasons it has been postponed for now. This decision was taken as the hall and queues were not ready. Since the beginning of Nityannadanam scheme in the temple, meals have been served in Aritaks. Now for some reasons, they will serve meals in glasses.

Annavaram Devasthanam of Kakinada district has made a small change in the Nityannadana scheme. Devotees will now be offered rice prasad instead of rice bowls. This policy came into effect from Thursday. This decision was taken on the orders of superiors due to lack of full availability of Aritaks on weekends and peak days. Also, as the cost is decreasing, it has been decided to put meals in glass.

Moreover, machines have also been prepared to clean the glasses. It has been decided to implement the buffet system from Thursday. But the hall was not yet ready and queues were not completed, so it was postponed. The buffet policy will be implemented in a few days. In Annavaram Devasthanam, Nityannadana scheme started 35 years ago with 200 people. After that the donations of devotees were Rs. 54 crores deposited in the bank. Since the beginning of Nityannadanam, meals have been served to the devotees in Aritaku. Now plates have been brought in that place.
