Shamirpet Man Arrested: A man who was circulating as a social reformer in the name of service programs had his eyes on his friend’s wife. When she was alone at home, he saw it and tried to rape her. When the victim screamed, he ran away. Based on her complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. Moved to remand. The incident came to light in the Samirpet police station on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
