Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his happiness by scoring his first goal with Al-Nasr team, in the match against Al-Fateh yesterday, Friday, which ended in a 2-2 draw, in the 15th round of the Saudi Professional Football League, Roshen.
Ronaldo scored the equalizing goal for victory in Al-Fateh net from a penalty kick in the third minute of calculated time instead of lost for the second half, after his team was trailing 1-2.
Ronaldo said through his official account on Facebook: “I am happy to score my first goal in the Saudi League, a great effort from the entire team in order to achieve an important equalizer in a very difficult match.”
Ronaldo joined Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia during the winter transfer period last January, after he terminated his contract with Manchester United before the start of the World Cup in Qatar, in which his country, Portugal, was knocked out in the quarter-finals by its Moroccan counterpart, losing to it 0-1.
Al-Nasr leads the Saudi League standings with 34 points, ahead of Al-Shabab, who played 16 matches, on goal difference, while Al-Nasr played 15 matches.
