Presenting the important activities of the Embassy to the students, the Ambassador appreciated the active participation of Kuwaiti schools in the Azadi Amrit Maholsava programs organized as part of the 75th Independence Anniversary. He said that he would like to thank all the school managements and the teacher-student community for their cooperation in organizing the celebrations in a better way.
He explained the steps taken by the Embassy in introducing Indian culture and arts to Kuwait, while finding solutions to the problems of the Indian diaspora and working for their welfare. He requested that there should be active participation of students in this regard.

He said that India is emerging as a global power. He explained the efforts being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India an Atmanirbhar Bharat. He highlighted the achievements of India including in the field of science like Mangalyayan and Chandrayaan, starting with the development of the Covid vaccine. India is currently leading the world in dealing with climate change. He pointed to the formation of the International Solar Alliance, which has more than 100 members, as proof of this.
He also highlighted the Embassy’s role in providing centers for examinations like NEET and JEE in Kuwait. This measure has helped hundreds of Indian students during the Covid era. The Ambassador said that for all students in Kuwait as well as for Indians, it is a home away from home and they can approach the embassy for any need at any time. As part of the program, a video and exhibition was prepared explaining the various activities of the Embassy. A class for those preparing for the Indian Civil Services Examination was also held as part of the programme.
