In light of the exchange of accusations between the two parties to the conflict in Sudan of breaching a truce that soon began until it ended, the Sudanese army confirmed that its forces had defeated the Rapid Support Forces from Meroe airport.

Truce did not start to be completed
These developments came as the truce agreed upon in Sudan entered into force for a period of 24 hours since Tuesday evening at 6 pm local time – 7 Saudi time – after the approval of both the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, amid a major escalation and the shooting in the sky of Khartoum.
However, this truce was not completed, as a few hours later, clashes erupted again between the two parties amid an exchange of accusations about who violated it.
